Great Deal from DealExtreme for iPhone Power Adapter

I do lots of shopping on a daily basis especially online shopping because I could compare prices so much easier and some of the special items could only be purchased online.
For this time, I really have to recommend this site to you all, www.dealextreme.com .
I have an iPhone 3GS and it comes with a very nice tiny charging cube alone with the USB data cable. However, the battery issue is a known problem so that I have to charge my iPhone quite frequent; the problem is that I don’t want to carry the cube everywhere.
So I thought to myself, usually I am at 3 different places: home, school and work. I don’t worry about being at home because I have the adapter to charge my iPhone; all I need to do is to get two more adapter and put them into the other two places.
The first place I check is of course Apple Store, here is the screenshot of the adapter on Apple.ca:
$35 each, if I am going to get two, that will be total of $70 + applicable tax. Hmmm… I definitely don’t want to do that. So I browse around and found it’s actually available on dealextreme.

Their products usually are sold out very soon; just in case they are sold out or forced to removed, here is the screenshot of it:
I have shopped at this site quite a lot before so I know how it works. Basically dealextreme is a China-based online store that provide cheap stuffs with free shipping (yes, no matter how much you buy and where you live). The price is so low that sometimes you don’t even want to obtain RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) because the return shipping you have to pay might be more than what the item would cost. Two things you have to know are: the prices are all in US dollars and you won’t be able to receive the items you order within two weeks for most of the people. Some of their products are OEM that you might not be able to receive the original box but it still have a serial number.
Back to this iPhone power adapter, it looks pretty much the same as the one that came with the box, and it also comes with the cable. Talking about one original USB cable from Apple, it could have cost you more than $10. So I gave it a try and bought two of them just in case one of them does fail.
And they came just slightly over two weeks.
They both work great for my iPod Touch and iPhone 3GS even though it doesn’t say it’s for iPhone 3GS. One of the funny things I must say about the packaging is that, they cable and adapter are enclosed in an iPod Nano box!
I don’t know what else I could say about this. 2X$4.14=$8.28 US, after converting it to Canadian dollars, it’s still slightly less than $10 CAD. That’s a huge saving from $78.40 (After B.C. tax)!
If you ever need some cables or accessories, try DealExtreme first and you might found some gems.

haha! iPod case for adapter, nice!
Yes, it is. It’s like a bonus. I can make use of the iPod Nano case very easily.
