LEGO Photo — Legoized your photo on iPhone

I am not sure how much you love LEGO, but if you are interested in LEGO creation but not too familiar with how those cubic pieces work, or you are a new LEGO fan who would like to start with something light first, then you should try this free application on iPhone/iPod Touch and later iPad.

Building real 3D LEGO model could be hard at first, but starting with 2D LEGO could be very fun. LEGO Photo is free in iTunes store, it helps you turn your selected photo into a mosaic effect similar to what I have introduced before: How to Create Mosaic Art Effect with Your Photos on Mac or Windows, but just more LEGOized, .

And today, I will do a sample run for you.

1. When you launch up the application, you will first see a splash page and then the main menu:

The first LEGO button will redirect you to take a snap shot with the camera on your iPhone and use the picture to process. The second LEGO button will enable you to choose among your existing photos. As for me, I chose the one I took quite a while ago:

2. Once I tab on the photo I chose, LEGO Photo will automatically start the process:

3. The whole process took about 3 seconds on my iPhone 3GS:

4. A very easy-understanding page will come up upon successful process. All you need to do is to tab your finger onto where the blue dot is indicating. And the LEGO photo is displayed:

5. What? Not enough? No worries. LEGO photo actually has already made 4 different effects for you. You will just need to tab your finger on your iPhone/iPod Touch again to reveal the next LEGO photo. These are the other four photos I got:

6. Choose the best one you like and tab on the information icon on the top right corner; you could save the LEGO photo out and keep it. This is the one I chose and the size is slightly bigger than my previous screen shots on iPhone.
