I just installed a plugin for my wordpress today; it’s called WPtouch. Just a minute after the installation, I love this plugin so much and couldn’t help to introduce this plugin to you all briefly in no time.
You can download this plugin at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wptouch/ .
And here is their official introduction:
With a single click, WPtouch transforms your WordPress blog into an iPhone application-style theme, complete with ajax loading articles and effects, when viewed from an iPhone, iPod touch, Android or BlackBerry touch mobile device.
I found it extremely easy to use and the effect is surprisingly amazing. I have two screen shot from my iPhone when viewing my own blog.
It’s AJAX-based and enable iPhone, BlackBerry users to view your wordpress blog as easy as using an iPhone RSS-reader app. It also include a fast switch function at the bottom of your wordpress page to let you switch back and forth whenever you want. One of another features I like about this plugin is that your wordpress will be loaded much faster which WPtouch theme enable as you need to download less information, comparing the WPtouch theme to your original theme that’s meant to be displayed on desktop/notebooks.
I highly recommend this plugin for your wordpress if you want your blog to be more mobile device friendly. There are more amazing features about this plugin, why don’t you visit their site and discover your own amazement?
