Snow Leopard installation interface reveal

Mac Rumors reported the packaging of the new Apple Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard a while ago; for those who want to take a look, you can view it at Mac Rumors.
As today, I will confirm this is true that because Apple released Snow Leopard’s 10A432 developer version and it was said to be the GM (Golden Master) version of Snow Leopard. When I mount up this “snowleopard_10a432_userdvd.dmg”, the first thing I found was the little cat sitting in the installation icon.
Now, let’s compare it with the current Mac OS X installation interface:
Agree it or not, I found the design is not appealing at all, to a point that I am disappointed. To me, this is a drop in artistic level; I can’t help to ask, is Apple running out of resource or product designer?
Of course, the design of the packaging won’t stop me from purchasing a copy from Apple especially the new Snow Leopard has so many increased features that I would like to use on my Macbook.
It’s my experience and also the truth that Apple would like to keep EVERYTHING in a box before they decide the open the box. So there still a possibility that this is not the final design of Snow Leopard. Hope for the best.
[UPDATE] Now we all know this is real.
